Rebuilt into Wildcat’s Revenge |
Wildcat was a wooden roller coaster located at Hersheypark in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The ride was Hershey Park's fourth roller coaster.
History and General Information[]
Fifty-one years after the demolition of the original Wild Cat, Hersheypark's first roller coaster, Wildcat debuted, bearing a similar name as reference to the first coaster. The ride is located at the back left corner of the park while another wooden coaster, Lightning Racer is located at the back right corner of the park. Wildcat was built with a curved drop to reduce nausea and features an on ride camera. Due to the extreme roughness of the ride while operating with its original Philadelphia Toboggan Company trains, its trains were replaced with GCI's Millennium Flyer's trains in 2007.
Wildcat closed in July 2022 to undergo a transformation by Rocky Mountain Construction as Wildcat’s Revenge.
