Vortex is an Arrow Dynamics suspended roller coaster located at Canada's Wonderland in Vaughan, Canada. The park had debut the coaster for the tenth anniversary in 1991. The cars are capable of swinging freely under the track.
Riders climb to the top of Wonder Mountain (the mountain in Canada's Wonderland), then they are dropped over the summit towards a lake. They make multiple sideways turns, at one point nearly touching the water. The cars then swing to a stop and roll into the station.
Vortex holds the record for the fastest suspended roller coaster beating Ninja at Six Flags Magic Mountain by less than 1 mph.
