Viper at Darien Lake was Darien Lake's first major roller coaster and the first roller coaster in the world with five inversions.
Design[]
Viper was originaly all black from 1982 to 1998. In 1999 the track were painted a lime green color. In 2010 the track was repainted back to black. The elements of the roller coaster are a loop, a batwing, a double corkscrew, and on-ride photo camera, and a subterranean tunnel.
