Tiki-Waka is a steel,Wild Mouse style coaster,located in the Belgian amusment park,Walibi Belgium.The ride is a Bobsled Coaster model which build by the German manufacturer,Gerstlauer.The coaster was opened on April 7,2018 with a tiki theme to it,however the official opening was on 9.4.2018.

Location and constructions[]

The attraction is build on the former site of La Coccinelle,which served as thier Zierer Tivoli Coaster.La Coccinelle will be relocated in the future to the former location of La Grande Roue.Constructions have already started during the Halloween event in 2017.The Keverbaan was dismantled at the end of septmber and removed from the location,with the Gold River Adventure pond which was drained.The first track shares were placed on 30 January.The name was announced on Febuary 15,during a site tour for the press and guests.The last track was placed on 30 January 2018.Tiki-Waka is part of the new Polynesian themed area,Exotic World.

Opening[]

The intention was to open the coaster at the start of the 2018 season,so on 31 March,the deadline was not met,partly due to weather conditions.The first test drive run on March 27.The park announced that the coaster will be open on 7.4.2018.
