Thorpe Park

Stealth is an Intamin AG launched roller coaster located at Thorpe Park in Surrey, England. The ride is the fastest roller coaster in the United Kingdom, and fifth fastest in Europe, after Furius Baco and Shambhala, both located at PortAventura Park in Spain.

After the launch, the train ascends up the Top hat element, twisting 90 degrees laterally. The train crests the Top hat, 205 ft (62m) in the air. The train then descends 200 ft (61m) down the 90 degree drop. After that, the train travels over the moderately-sized airtime hill, before gliding into the brakes. The train then rolls back into the station.

  • This ride has a Transfer Track, located in a warehouse beside the ride. This can store a train when it is not in use.

Comparison to Zaturn at Space World

Stealth opened approximately 1½ months earlier than Zaturn at Space World, and is almost identical to Zaturn. However, Zaturn takes 2.3 seconds to launch whereas Stealth takes 1.9 seconds. Also Zaturn's average top speed is 0.3 mph (0.48 km/h) faster than Stealth's and as well as being 0.9 feet (0.28 meters) shorter. Also, the ride's maximum G-Force is 0.5G lower than Zaturn.
