Rougarou is a Bolliger & Mabillard floorless roller coaster located at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. The ride originally featured Stand-Up trains and was called "Mantis" until the end of 2014, when it was renamed, repainted, and given new floorless trains.

Mantis[]

When it opened in 1996, Mantis set several stand-up coaster records, including height, speed, length, and inversions. All of those records were later beaten by Chang, which were then surpassed by Riddler's Revenge. The ride also included the world's first inclined loop. Mantis temporarily closed and served its last ride as a stand-up coaster on October 19 2014. In 2015, Mantis was repainted and given new floorless trains under the new name "Rougarou".
