Rewind Racers is a family shuttle roller coaster located at Adventure City in Stanton, California.
History[]
Rewind Racers was manufactured by Gerstlauer at a cost of $2 million and opened at the park on June 6, 2015, replacing Tree Top Racers. After the summer of 2019, a small "Pit Stop" building was added to the top ends of the shuttle route. Sometime during closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, video screens were added to the Pit Stop building.[1]
Design[]
Rewind Racers' cars are shaped like a race car to give the illusion that riders are in a race. The ride has an orange track and yellow supports. This roller coaster is a good starter for kids to start going backwards on a roller coaster. The track features a helix that is upwards going forwards and downwards going backwards. This ride also features a segment when the train is paused at the end atop the track hill, a video recording provides the illusion that the race car is being maintained before being relaunched back down.
Train[]
Single-train with 7 cars. Riders are arranged 2 across in a single row in each car for a total of 14 riders per train.
