Professor Screamore's SkyWinder, formerly known as Mind Eraser, is an inverted roller coaster located at Six Flags America in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.[1]
History[]
The ride was manufactured by Vekoma and opened at the park as The Mind Eraser on May 20, 1995.
In 2017, Samsung Gear VR virtual reality headsets were used to offer the "Galactic Attack Virtual Reality Coaster".
Mind Eraser was removed from the park's website in 2022, with no comments about it from the park itself.
In 2023, Six Flags announced that Mind Eraser would be repainted and will be given new trains as part of an overhaul of the Coyote Creek themed area which was replaced with SteamTown. In May 2024, the new name "Professor Screamore's SkyWinder" was announced.
