Parc Astérix is am theme park in France based on the Astérix book series and stories by Albert Uderzo and Réne Goscinny. Parc Astérix is especially well known for its large variety of roller coasters and has rides themed to historic cultures like Ancient Greeks and the Romans.
Asterix Park is the third most visited theme park in France, after Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studios Park.

Parc Astérix is situated in Plailly approximately 22 miles (35 km) north of Paris and 20 miles (32 km) from Disneyland Paris.
