Since 1876, Maurer has been working from headquarters in Munich and today has over 1000 employees at six production sites around the world. In 1992, Maurer entered the development and production of Amusement Rides.
Maurer Rides specializes in rail-mounted transport systems. In addition to roller coaster trains and related Amusement Rides, this includes passenger transportation systems and people movers as well as conveyor systems for the transport of goods.
The revolutionary Spike® drive technology allows the lubricant-free use of gear train technology for high speeds as well as three-dimensional twisted track design. This opens up entirely new perspectives for rail-guided transport, including:
Powered Coaster with spectacular acceleration, precise positioning and controllability and shortest possible dispatch intervals. Interactivity, any mix of darkride / show sections with speed tracks, different seating styles and themings.
Peoplemover with 4- to 10-seater cabins or standing room for up to 20 passengers, 60 km/h speed and variable slope up to 100% or as an elevator up to 90 °. Minimum area usage and completely free routing from horizontal to vertical with the smallest curve radius of 3.0m.
