HangTime is a steel dive coaster located at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California. The term "HangTime" refers to negative G-forces experienced when advancing slowly through an inversion.
History[]
HangTime is an Infinity Coaster model that was manufactured by Gerstlauer. It was built on the former site of Boomerang. When HangTime opened at Knott's Berry Farm on May 18, 2018, it became the first dive coaster in California.[1] Construction took 24 weeks to complete and the lighting package alone reportedly cost $500,000.[2][3]
