Cosmic Coaster is a family sit-down roller coaster located at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. The ride was built by Preston & Barbieri and is themed to Snoopy. It is located in the Planet Snoopy section of the park.

History[]

The Cosmic Coaster originally opened on 4 April 1993 named Wacky Worm. It was located in the "Americana" section of the park, which became Camp Snoopy in 2001. The area was remodelled once again into Planet Snoopy in 2011, and in 2012, Wacky Worm was moved within Planet Snoopy and received a new name and theme as Cosmic Coaster as part of an investment in overall general park improvements that year. It is located in the space previously occupied by the Woodstock Express kiddie train.

Design[]

This ride is a Big Apple / Wacky Worm clone, with a figure-eight layout.

Trains[]
