Speedsnake FREE is a Vekoma old looping MK-1200,located in Fort Fun,Germany.The coaster is the oldest at the park and its has undergone several changes,either in name,paint and mostly trains.
History[]
The coaster opened in 1982 under the name Whirlwind(WirbelWind in german),at its time,it was mostly white track altough the green supposrts remained and operated with Arrow trains.However the layout remained the same and never gone any changes.In 2010 the track repainted black and the ride was renamed to Speed Snake.The trains were also changed to Vekomas trains with new restrains.However,the ride would change again in 2017 with a massive makeover,it recived new trains again,this time from Sunkid Heege.Those trains proved to be a success,as riders love the free feel that they are giving to the rider and the use of lap bar only,not only that,the ride got a new name of Speedsnake FREE,which it will keep to this day.
