History

Fantasilandia began operations in 1978. The park would open their first coaster, Galaxy, in October of their first year. 16 years later in 1994, they would open another one of their defunct coasters, Cyclon, which was manufactured by Italian manufacturer Pinfari.

In 1996, they would open Boomerang, a Vekoma Boomerang model. Later, they would open their first of the two coasters manufactured by Zamperla, Montaña Dragón sometime before 2004. In December 2004, Cyclon would close down, which would be the first coaster to close at the park and would be relocated to VulQano Park in Ecuador as Krákaton.

2 years later in December 2006, Wild Mouse would open the the public, which is a Zamperla Twister Coaster. On December 23rd, 2008, they would open their only inverted coaster, Raptor, a Vekoma Suspended Looping Coaster.

On February 18th, 2013, the park would close down Galaxy after 34 years of operation. But later on November 14th, 2015, Tren Minero would open as their third coaster made by Vekoma.

Fantasilandia would still operate as of May 2020.
