It had the steepest drop of any wooden roller coaster in the world, at 76 degrees, until this record was broken by T Express in 2008 and New Texas Giant in 2011.
Reception[]
El Toro is known to be a very rough, bumpy and exhilarating ride, and critics in a 2006 wooden roller coaster poll ranked it 3rd out of 178.[2]
