Dragon Fire is an Arrow Dynamics looping roller coaster located at Canada's Wonderland in Vaughan, Canada. It opened in 1981 as "Dragon Fyre" until it was later renamed to its current name. It was one of the four original coasters at Canada's Wonderland. Since the removal of Drachen Fire from Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Dragon Fire is also the only Arrow Dynamics coaster in existence to have counter-clockwise turning corkscrews.[1]
Coaster design[]
The trains leaves the stations before doing a 180 degree turn and then onto the chain lift that goes up to 78 feet. Then there is a steep drop followed by 2 right turn loops. The coaster then does a left banking turn that goes into the 2 counter-clockwise turning corkscrews. Afterwards, the track has a series of brakes followed by a small slope and then an upwards helix. There are the final brakes as the train enters the station. The track is dark green and yellow with navy blue supports.
