Cobra is a sit-down shuttle roller coaster located at Conny-Land in Lipperswil, Thurgau, Switzerland.
History[]
The year after Cobra opened, the coaster's entire layout, perhaps excluding the lift, was retracked by Stakotra, the company that produces track for Intamin. This was due to the original track failing to meet proper safety requirements.[1]
For the 2020 Season, the coaster received a new train from Sunkid Heege for the 2020 season. Apart from the first and last row, the seats from each car are facing towards each other. Two riders travel forwards, the other two backwards while looking at each other.
In 2023, the scorpion tail inversion was extended by 10 meters. This increased the highest point for the train from 30m to 36m and the overall track length from 215m to 225m.
