Boomerang is a shuttle roller coaster model designed and sold by Vekoma. Its first installation was at La Ronde and another 44 have been bought since (not including relocations). This makes it one of the most copied roller coasters models. Other manufactures have also created their own renditions including Beijing Shibaolai Amusement Equipment (Boomerang) and Jinma Rides (Reciprocating Roller Coaster).

Design[]

Elements

Riders are pulled up a lift hill behind the station, then dropped through it's signature inversion - a cobra roll (although it's called a boomerang on this ride) and vertical loop, before going up a the second spike. The train is then caught, pulled up further and released backwards through the inversions.
