Boomerang is a family roller coaster build by Vekoma which opened in April 29, 2017 in the Polish amusment park, Energylandia. It is a Shuttle roller coaster, i.e, with an open track and a train moving back and forth. The coaster's track layout is a clone of Velociraptor in the amusment park Paultons Park in England.
Trip description[]
The funicular track is slightly over 200 m long. The train is pulled backwards with the help of friction wheels to the top of the first hill, after which the trains released and rolls off the front reaching a speed of 60 km / h. The train then passes through the station, turns left by about 210°, overcomes a slight hill, passes through a tunnel above the station building, turns right by 210° and goes onto a second hill. After reaching the maximum height of 23 m, the train rolls backwards and overcomes the entire route once again. The the train hits the brakes at the end of the station.
Thematization[]
The arragement of the station refers to the building of an old vineyard. The track is painted purple and the supports are painted in dark grey color. The train is purple with a bat ornament at its head.
