Beech Bend is an amusement park located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, United States. The park opened in 1898 and has been operating since. The park currently operates 3 roller coasters, those being Kentucky Rumbler, Spinning Out and Wild Mouse.
As of May 2020, the park is currently operating and is owned by Dallas and Alfreda Jones.
Name[]
The name originates from a bend in Barren River which had beech trees around the area, hence the name "Beech Bend".
History[]
The amusement park opened in 1898. The park was bought by Charles Garvin in the 1940's and would open their first coaster as the now defunct Wild Mouse. Which opened circa 1958 and was manufactured by B. A. Schiff & Associates.
In 1984, the racetrack was bought by Dallas & Alfreda Jones. Later in 1987 they would buy the rest of the park.
As of today, the park currently has 3 roller coasters.
