Batman - The Dark Knight is a Bolliger & Mabillard floorless roller coaster located at Six Flags New England.

Design

• The ride features a very intense and twisted layout. a banked curve goes through the Vertical Loop, the Zero-G Roll crosses through the Dive Loop, and the Corkscrews are interlocking.
• The ride features a Pre-Drop, typical of B&M Roller Coasters. This is designed to reduce strain on the Chain Lift.

History

The ride was renamed Batman: The Ride in 2008 due to a proposed new indoor Roller Coaster, called Batman: The Ride at Six Flags New England. This new ride was then cancelled and the name was reverted back to the original.

Trivia

The ride is one of only two roller coasters of this kind to feature track crossing through the vertical loop. The other floorless coaster to do this is Insane Speed at Janfusun Fancyworld in Taiwan.
