Batgirl, formerly Boomerang, is a Vekoma shuttle roller coaster located at Six Flags México in Mexico City, Mexico.

History[]

The ride was manufactured by Vekoma and originally operated at the Rafaela Padilla amusement park from 1984 to 1986, before being moved to Reino Adventura, where it opened as "Boomerang" in 1987. The name was temporarily changed to "Escorpión" from 1992 to 1999, when the park was acquired by Premier Parks, which changed the name of the park to Six Flags Mexico in 2000.

In 2024, coaster enthusiasts speculated that the ride would be removed as it had been closed.[1] However, Six Flags Mexico announced on November 27 that it would be re-themed to "Batgirl" for the 2025 season.[2]
