Bandit (formely "Wild Wild West" until 2004) is a wooden roller coaster that can be found in Movie Park Germany. The coaster was opened on May 7,1999 and was manufacutred by the now defunct company, the "Roller Coaster Corporation of America".
Bandit was at that time the only wooden roller coaster in Germany and also known to be Germany's first "modren" wooden roller coaster. It was opened in 1999 as Wild Wild West, after the take over of Movie Park by StarParks, the name was later changed to the more well knwon Bandit in 2005. Bandit was out of action for a long time due to technical problems in 2009, but came back to operation in the 2010 season.
At the end of May 2013, Bandit was closed again, as the driving behavior no longer corresponded to the deisres of the park. Since August 16, 2013 the coaster back to operation.

Ride[]
Bandit was built with a Cyclon styled layout. As Cyclon coasters are being called webs to the original Cyclon at the famous US amusment park,Coney Island in Brooklyn. The track used on the ride is also a one-to-one copy of the 1991 coaster, Psyclone which used to operate in Six Flags Magic Mountain in California.
Trains[]
When the coaster was opened in 1999, it used trains from the Swiss manufacturer, Intamin. In 2001, the trains were replaced by trains from Premier Rides. Bandit has two trains, each one of those trains contains five cars. each can fit 30 riders per train.
