Apollo's Chariot is the first hyper roller coaster built by Bolliger & Mabillard. The ride is located at Busch Gardens Williamsburg in Williamsburg, Virginia. The roller coaster uses an out and back design with a large helix. Apollo's Chariot opened in 1999 in the "Festa Italia" section of the park.

Accidents and incidents[]

  • On March 27, 1999 during its opening run Italian model Fabio was hit in the face by a flying goose on the first drop causing him a nose-bleed.
